Wow, such beautiful imagery. I love your vocabulary choices for this one, they work perfectly. All in all, I really enjoyed reading this poem and love the image you chose for it.

Indeed it is! Being someone who gets lazy every winter and wants them to end quickly, I love march and the changing of the seasons! And this line of yours...blowing the leaves and winter's worst...was the best part for me! :-)

First March in some countries is considered to be the beginning of Spring. Unfortunately not where I am, we still have snow, the spring will come probably in May. Thank you for sharing hope in this poem and good luck with the contest.

I wonder how the leap year affects the 'in like a lamb' theory. Today we had a big snowstorm with lots of wind. Tomorrow's supposed to be sunny. Hopefully March will have a little less snow and still go out like a lab. Good luck in the contest.
