I love a good haiku, because they are so difficult to work with so few syllables and really transforms one's perspective by saying something relatable or ironic or a fresh view of some everyday thing. Your haiku is sweet, but to my ear at least, does not accomplish these criteria. But write on!

Wait. Isn't haiku 5-7-5? What a I missing? Whatever it's called, I did read the contest prompt. What I did not do was count your syllables correctly. I checked thrice, and kept coming up with 6. So I apologize and will adjust the rating.
