LOL!! Yeah, ya never know when the husband will decide to 'truck' up there one summer.... I will be sure to give you a heads up!! ;) :) Take care of you, Lovely Michigan Lady.... I'm doing the GRADING MARATHON (from which I've 'stepped away' for a few moments...can you say 'procrastination'? lol!)... Mama's rose garden - oh, my you bring tears to the eyes when I think of my fine rose garden in the valley - so lovely. when I get around a lot of rose bushes I just have to get scissors and "dead heat" the blooms that have finished blooming and I just bring one of the beautiful blooms inside to admire.

Yeah, I don't know this for a fact, but, I can imagine that it takes a bit of patience to tend a rose garden. This is a beautiful rose garden. It does look like a lot of love was put into this garden. A green thumb and a loving touch. Thanks for sharing this well written work. Well done!

I just love the line, "painted with splashes of love." It shows not only the beauty of the garden but the beauty of the person who is charged with its upkeep. The gardener does deserve some credit.
