Hi, Barbara
Another excellent chapter. In the following section, for some reason two of my favorite screen partners came to mind (Spencer Tracy and Kat Hepburn):
"How many days have you been here?"
"Ten, why?"
"It's gone by fast, yet I feel like I've known you forever(?)"
"I guess you're right. Is that good or bad?"
"Not sure. Do you have coffee ready?"

It's a lovely piece of Romance Fiction in continuation having lucid wording, smooth, and enchanting flow throughout from the beginning to the end.
What I like most is the conversational approach.
Interesting, and compels the reader to wait for the next part.

McKenzie has two dogs, a doxie and rottie. LOL I do have the large dog too. Thank you for the kind review.

Hi Barbara, You know, it just occurred to me... when I first came to this site, like many other people, I read a lot of poetry, not many stories, and really nothing at all in the novel section. Now I find myself reading several novels, too many I think... one just finished and I don't think I'm going to be able to start whatever that person starts next, much as I'd like to, all of my stories are starting to get mixed up! LOL I do love this one though... I do wish your posts were longer. :)
