Fascinating about the size comparison. Amusing about tourists who assume that Australia is the size of a small town, such that its towns are like neighboring streets. Reminds me of the times when out-of-staters say...so you're from Massachusetts...you must know my friend in Boston.

I like your ramble. It also makes good sense many of the suggestions you've presented in this. I know that many countries have experienced massacres and people should have a right to bear arms if they so choose. I really like this and enjoyed reading this informative, inspirational, and well written work. Well done!

Thanks another Jeffrey. There are a few of us in FS some Geoffrey's and some your spelling. Means at Peace with God by the way. I told another Jeffrey in here about a Jeoffrey I know here in Australia that is also Aboriginal (but white). His sister is black go figure.

Well, this was a really good and honest ramble! The first part was really funny and it reminded me of the notorious and infamous lack of knowledge Americans are said to have about other countries! And according to last census, Pakistan also has a population of above 200 million!
I suppose such terrible things related to security issues are much likelier to happen in such a large and congested population! Its school shooting and gun laws for USA and war against terror for Pakistan!

This is well thought out and I think it is really what most people would like. That and that certain weapons just as assault riffles be banned entirely. Sense we have a constitution amendment that gives us the right to keep and bare arms, no one really wants to get rid of that amendment. But the gun lobby keep telling one of the political parties that the other is trying to take their guns away. Not true. We just want some control over who is allowed to have them. No one whose committed violent crimes and no one with severe mental problems and no guns which could kill multitudes of people. Self protection is a must.

Thanks Beth for an excellent review. I kn ow it is a touchy subject but as I have said nothing wrong with bearing arms just as long as your head is straight.
