but you wrote a good poem.
-The imagery paints a
vivid word picture of spring.

and "caravan of vibrant colors."

I am so pleased you enjoyed the artwork and my poem, Pam. The Hazel does sound complicated until you try it. I enjoyed the challenge.

A very well-written poem inspired by Springtime and the muse loves it too and bring wonderful images of colorful blooms that bring the garden to life.

Lovely; short, sweet and charming, and the image of spring as a watering can is so apt... and yet, not many would think of it. I do applaud a poet who knows when to stop, probably because I often don't.

I am so pleased you like my short Hazel so much, Sallyo. This form is different from most you see on FanStory, but fun to write. Thank you so much for those six bright stars.

I think after a long, cold northern hemisphere summer, how we could not be inspired to write. There are so many wonderful things to write about, and you've done a marvellous job with this wonderfully upbeat poem glorifying spring, well done, good luck, blessings, Roy

Yes, I do find spring inspirational with the colorful flowers, the sounds of birds chirping, the scent of new grass, the warmth of the sun on my skin. A powerful muse indeed!

Thos is very nice. It makes me think of gardens and warmth, gentle rains. Here in minnesota we seem to have the winter that never ends. It's snowing right now! Hurry spring. Thanks for sharing.

I most enjoyed the image of spring being a watering can, watering you and helping transform your thoughts into verse. Your rhymes themselves were clever (verse and coerce; watering can and caravan), but the one thing you might work on is the rhyme structure. I could not find their pattern. I look forward to reading more of your work!

I am delighted you enjoyed my use of a watering can as a metaphor for Spring's inspiration. Since you wrote this review, I added in my notes an explanation of what a Hazel is. There you will see what the rhyme scheme is supposed to be.
