Lovely personification of Spring - and it's not you who is watering but Spring herself is watering you and bringing to life your creative verses. I remember how you learned the joy of gardening from your grandmother. She probably opened your eyes to those "caravan of colors." Best wishes in the contest!

What a lovely post. I love the image and the poem told from the viewpoint of the flowers in the garden. This is an interesting form, nicely composed. I like verse/coerce. Rhymes perfectly. Marilyn

What an inspiration springtime is! You have perfectly captured everything hopeful and beautiful about the emerging springtime. I really liked the rhythm of your poem and your fantastic imagery. Thank for teaching a newbie here on FS a different style of writing!

I enjoyed this poem because it makes me think of my backyard which I transformed last year, from a weed patch to a lovely place of flowers and nature. It was a lot of work but what a change. Thanks for this refreshing poem, I can almost smell the flowers through your words.

I admire all the work you did to transform the weed patch into a garden you enjoy. My wife spends the winter planning her garden and I thrive on the results. Many thanks for sharing SPRINGTIME. I am delighted you enjoyed it.

I like this. Since Spring signifies new life, it does inspire people I think. We're able to get out and about more. I also think that with us personally being out there gazing at life coming forth, inspiration grows also. I believe that cold and gloomy weather can stifle this. Thanks for sharing this well written work. Well done!
