I love the line in your notes revealing the names of both husbands! What a wonderfully written story and I love the Hendrix picture. I wish I had a six. Best of luck with your writing!
Have a great day and God bless.

Thank you Mike! I appreciate the woulda-been-bonus. More important to me is that you liked the piece. (I always assumed that the name Michael was the most common--funny then, isn't it, that sooo many guys I know are "Dicks"--even the one named Michael.) Cheers. LIZ

Elizabeth,
What marvelous writing. I enjoyed it soooo much. This was a great taste of real life - though I'm glad it's not yours. *smile* We all encounter this, unfortunately, and must decide how to react to it - often on the basis of the setting. Intimate or public, close relationship or distant, will we ever see them again, etc?
The part about the disc in the backbone was nothing short of brilliant. LOVED IT.
One small note:
--> "How wonderful!" Joe cried--as in the both senses of the word:
--> delete 'the'
Thanks so much!
