Thanks Diana for your nice words. I had remember a couple of songs I liked a while back and thought I would do a couple of poems that I thought the songs might sort of relate too in some way. This was one of them, have not wrote the other one yet. It just so happened that the words that came to me in a way related to how we first meant and that small period that we did not click right away but later got back together and it all worked. I guess you are rubbing off on me writing poetry and adding songs to them. :-)

This is a very poignant rhythmic poem that says so much about a love that was interrupted for some reason. Fortunately, the thread did not break and it tied you two eventually, and that is why "It was worth the wait." How wonderful. Lovely composition.
