In my opinion, an emotionally rendered sentiment in tribute to one's beloved who has ventured beyond, leaving only memories and tears in an unforgettable essence - in perfect adherence to the promp's definition. Best wishes in the contest...

Comment from Gloria ....
This is such a delicate nonet written perfectly to form. Even without the amended artwork, your words breathe life into this fine tribute in honour of your mother.
Love everything about this, including the photograph.
I wish you much luck with the contest committee with this gem. :)

Hello Gloria,
I am honored by your exceptional rating and complimentary review.
My mother was such a dynamic and positive force in my life. Such a creative individual born far "before her time." Everything I know about flowers, gardening, and beauty I learned from her...
She would be 97 on February 27th. Her favorite flowers were daffodils, and every February, when daffodils begin to appear in our grocery stores, I purchase two bunches weekly. Seven to a bunch. I carefully bring them home and arrange them in a blue vase she gave me years ago. And I remember...
Thank you again, friend.

Hello Diane,
This is a wonderful poem in honor of your mother.
The nonet flows nicely down to the last word.
My mother was born in 1921 and also passed away in the 2007,
so they had similar lives.
Perfect picture to match your words.
Best wishes to you
Robert

A brilliant loving tribute to your mom. All one's senses blend to bring the memory of a loved one back. Imaging the days of sunshine and flowers that were spent together brings peace and comfort to a saddened heart. Good luck with your tribute poem... ...ec

This is a very lovely little Nonet poem and an excellent contest entry. It's a touching tribute to your late mother and it makes me think of my own mother.

Such a beautiful and stunning poem. I know your mother would love it. I also like how the poem itself combines sad tones with brighter ones, like the golden sunshine.

What a delightful and uplifting poem. It is very lovely and speaks towards Spring, which I so eagerly await. The presentation is a great touch, also. It is elegant, indeed. Well done. Bruce.

A very touching tribute to your mother. Your poetry is so sentimental. I love to read the storylines. You sure can tell you're a teacher in spirit. Your students must love to be in your class.
