This is the kind of wall that alas...many people build over the years. Narrowminded, intolerant, in the end also completely lonely people, who never learned to live a happy life.
True prisoners.
A good story.

Thanks for the insightful review. I agree, racist and intolerant thoughts do seem to build like a wall. After time, you can no longer see over it. Have a peaceful Sunday, cheers.

And, that is such an all-too-common story these days... sigh. Great offering for the contest with a wonderful, far-reaching message! ;) Thanx for sharing and good luck! ;)

Thanks for the review. We all seem to be putting up walls and that is sad, cheers.

You did a phenomenal job with that prompt. You say so much, and you don't even mention Trump. Who needs a wall at the border when everyone wears one of their own. By keeping everyone out, Jenna has become her own prisoner. And your story is even the right length.
Good luck in the contest. I think this one should do well.

This short short story is an excellent contest entry on the topic of prisoner. Of course it is metaphoric as it tells of the isolation behind a wall of bricks of hate. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the review Susan. I imgine being a rascist is much like a brick wall. No sunny human compassion, no breezes of love. Cheers.
