Interesting idea for the story going to hell but paying the passage with golden coins like in Greek mythology. Pit stop to the demon dancers etc. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

There's no shame to be damned in hell.
number one when you're there course you're dead sea don't have really too many feelings positive or negative.
The climate is always hot of course so you can have two bring one of those little mini fans that you put on your head like Bennie and Cecil!
    Completion tomorrow!

That was a trip to Hell. I don't think it's a place that I would want to even visit. The smell the heat. You did well writing it although the chapters are a bit short, Anyway,
******************Keep right on writing!*****************

Never heard it phrased this way, an invitation to join the party but it does indeed work. Totally understandable in every word and looking forward to the rest

So sad, Ricky, my friend. I am very glad you didn't accept that "warm" invitation. At first I didn't get it -- a grave is a cold place -- but not where the devil is going, the lake of fire.
When my Grandpa died, my Grandma wanted to jump in the grave too. Not only is my Mom's side of the family Italian (and very emotional) but she had been through a lot. When she was a little tot, her family in Italy was in the fireworks business. In one terrible accident, her father and both brothers perished, leaving only the women of the family, and the girls. Then, when little Mary grew up and married, her first and only son died at the age of 10, of pneumonia complications, secondary to Ewing's Sarcoma. So she clung to my Grandpa, and when he died, she almost died, too. But she had two grown daughters and two grandchildren who she loved dearly.
All this is to say, that I understand very much about family trauma, and people wanting to throw themselves into graves. I understand, but I am so glad you remained on the topside of the dirt!
This world is no place for people! We messed it up badly with our sin. But then God sent Jesus, Emmanuel, Our Blessed Hope! It was He, who helped you resist temptation. God bless you, Ricky.

Complicated this business of having and raising a family.
I never really had that many problems once I establish my marriage.
    ...
I had already own the house at 24.
    With no mortgage payment.
    Just house taxes and insurance.
    ...
    But as time progressed,
it wasn't the additional children that we added more or less, it was the additional wife.
    ...
Near the end of our 20-year marriage, I finally realized that she loved the casinos more than me.
And left me a Hundred thousand in debt.
    ...
When I was coming up with the title for this, I thought of the song...
    ...
"I lost the Moon, I Lost Stars, I lost the Surprise...
    "I came undone."
    Thanks Mary,
    Ricky

That's terrible, Ricky. Stress is a killer. How sad that she was hooked on gambling. I'm sure her grief only made it worse. But the stress of the gambling debt was probably a significant factor in her death.
You're right, that would make quite a song. I hope you were able to reestablish your finances eventually -- you sound like a very level headed guy, despite all you have been through. It would have been nice to have you for a brother -- an older one; John was my younger brother. He could have used an older brother, too. God bless you, my friend.
