Hello, nice poem for the competition, and best of luck with this entry. I enjoyed your play on words with the title, and your explanation of it in the author notes.
I think it is a good poem, and to be an excellent one, in mho, I would find another word to rhyme with 'blouse', because mouse just doesn't fit in with the mood of the poem. 'Arouse' would rhyme better and be more effective in a romantic work, but whether or not you can tie that in, I don't know.
Other than that, it worked for me and thanks for sharing your writing, Eve.

That's okay, all I got my end was ?. lol And if you look down at my reviews, I give honest reviews and get spoken to rudely by people I give anything less than a five or six star review to. I got one this morning, I don't know whether it's the demographic which is over 50 mostly, or whether it is American's who aren't known for their good manners. And the most ignorant and usually the ost egotistical ones don't reply at all. I don't get it, you are reviewing for free, it's a writing site, and I write for a living, it's amazing. I think the people here are not interested in a career in writing, or getting better, just these meaningless five and six star ratings with lashings of flattery, if it wasn't so funny it would be ridiculous.
If you go to someone's comments and they are just doling out five after five after five with the odd six thrown in to a friend who just gave them a six, while spreading the flattery on thick, they are not your writing friend. It is the three and four stars that are doing you a favor. Don't mean to rant at you, but it never ceases to amaze me what it is like here, and the only difference between here and other sites I visit is the age and nationality of the patrons/writers, so that's why I have come to that conclusion. Have a fruitful writing day wherever that may be and if you edit, get back to me and I will take another look, but I am not here every day, just now and then.
