Now this is absolutely perfect. The meter is flawless and the message is wise counsel.
Fantastic poem--sure to become a classic in time ;)

An excellent poem with the essence of life who would need all the riches when we have such wonderful poets out there to warm the hearts and minds of others...you have put this over so well and every line is filled with your love for life ..Not money . know we cant live without it but money is not our God ...For its God who helps us to survive.
With regards
Dave

Hi Thru_Her_Eyes
Another outstanding poem and great reply to rl dubour. The photo art is stiking and the words hold a strong message to all that read them. I believe that the feelings of lonliness and despair are equal to all, whether you a rich man or a poor man. And dare I ask, who is rich and who is poor? Thanks for making me think
Jewell. You are a great writer.

Loose meter but it reads beautifully. I enjoyed this - must check out Ron's poem now. You're spot on - the message is all about having and giving. Well observed. Ail x

Amen Sister! I don't say that lightly...
Your poem sounds like my traverses---so, yeah, I can say, "Amen"
There are too few of those who have who do with it what is best....
Hoard, hoard, hoard, and hoard some more................
Whew! Should I get into a position of liberal giving without cause or reason as to how much---look out! I'll show them how to give it all away so more will be provided to give---that's how it works.............
Need to go read what inspired this.....
Thank you for creating this and sharing.
Take care & be safe
Lisloh
Excellent presentation.
Straight forward and honest, I love this about you too....:)
The answer from my spirit
Is to ponder which is wiser
How useless are these riches
If I hoard them like a miser

This is a lovely poem Jewell. You have stated that this is loose meter so I won't even try to comment on the meter. I echo your sentiments. Well done.

I loved this one!
Seems you are looking back on your life with no real regrets, you are relishing in the memories. It's an admirable thing to be able to do.
Awesome job, thanks for sharing.

16 stars above this chocolate moon,
reach and asks, a question in loose meters,
and down to the bottom I read,
as not a single verse, I read,
does not tetter....
Well i guess I 'll work my way backwards on reviews.....Tomorrow
It is always a well rounded solid poem which you write.............. bill

I've watched the greedy suffer
When they couldn't get enough
I saw their hearts grow callous
In actions cold and tough
The answer from my spirit
Is to ponder which is wiser
How useless are these riches
If I hoard them like a miser
Over the last 30 years I have know so many miserable rich people. This is well pointed out here. What a blessing it is to have the necessities and be loved as well. Great job once again my friend
