Feelings are very difficult to portray on paper. And you have succeeded in capturing the agony of survivor guilt. The setting of wandering alone on a rain soaked day is sad and touching. Well done.

I like to walk in the park on rainy days too. Nature is healing, even in the rain, and it's usually pretty quiet. Great picture. The dog doesn't seem to mind the rain. Best of luck in the contest.
