"Devil of a Monster", is an extremely well-written and deftly descriptive piece. With craft and well honed skill this talented poet has told it as it is. I look forward to seeing your next post.

Excellent. You do a fine job of pointing out that hate cannot eliminate hate, only love can do that. Darkness can never replace darkness, it takes light to do that. Everyone knows that God has power, he has majesty, divinity and so much more, but as John 4:8 states: God is love. Therefore if you align yourself with God, you will not be or ever become a monster.

Stars for you, Pharp. There are many people who take advantage
of people for their own pride and ego. It can destroy precious
youth of their dream. God is our help and shield in times of trouble.
I like how you add this in the end as a great witness. flylikeaneagle

Like your poem about the monster called Satan. Is that who you were referring to? To think about someone this horrible can be devastating. No one wants to have a friend who we call a monster!

How true! I know this monster, his name was alcohol. He robbed me of my beautiful family, a home and a career. He robbed me of my morals and almost took my life. Satan was his true name but he was disguised as something else. Very powerful piece.

This monster in my case name is Jealousy and confusion for he has many names. He came into a loving family and caused jealousy among siblings and destroyed the unity that we once had. Thanks so much for your review, comes and sharing how the enemy came come in and do so much harm. But I am so thankful to God, for He always provide a way out, it is up to us to accept His grace and mercy. Blessings my friend...Portia

That certainly describes a monster. One with no empathy or humanity-only wants and desires to cause pain. They seem to prey on those seeking a savior. Great piece! I like how it flowed.

A strange positioning in my view of this write, ignoring this evil rather than trying to smash: suggested turn the cheek. You might be right not to bother. All stated in my opinion.

Although visually appealing there could be deeper overtones for this poem. Say, he had an evil father who beat him up or his one true love slept with someone else. There must be a reason for his behaviors. Dig deeper.
