Wow, such an insightful and impactful entry for this contest. You answered the specific question well - What makes a monster? I'm in awe. Good luck in the contest.

This is a sad tale, told in a poetic setting. As to whether such a background inevitably creates a monster is, however arguable. It is true that many criminals have a background in 'care less' care homes (good use of the two words rather than the single 'careless', by the way), but it is also a fact that not all those who attended such homes turn out bad in the end. There has to be another ingredient and, whether that lies within the 'monster' himself, or is the result of some other outside agency, it needs to be identified, and so often it is not.

Some kids are raised in loving families with all the blessings.. and yet they can turn bad also. I do know they we all need the human touch to keep us grounded and loved. Thanks for the review, cheers.

Very well done, though I think care less should be one word (careless), yes one act can bring out the monster, and sometimes our upbringing, very well done and best wishes for your contest****kahpot

Thanks for the insightful review. Who knows what makes people turn away, to become evil.

Thanks for the review. Who knows what makes people turn bad. Not just childhood situations because those that were raised with loving families and all the blessings could turn evil also, cheers.
