Hello I am back, do you remember me?
I will try again for a while.

I gave this a six because the writing is just so clean. I read this without background and still really enjoyed it. i was curious about the characters, worried about motives and engaged. That then deserves every star I can find.

Keep writing,
padumachitta

Much drama in this chapter Tony. Written well and the dialogue made me fee I was there with them firstly when Ash was overpowered and then in Mozama's house. That was a good twist with Kayla stealing the briefcase of money. One determined gal.
cheers,
valda

Superbly done chapter with lots of surprise twists and turns plus comedy such as the Monty Python reference. It seems that Mozama has thought of everything to prepare Charles. There is also a reminder to be humane even to a terrible enemy like Ash, to care for his wound even after he threatened Charles.

Once again you added a wonderful addition to your already good novel. I can't wait to see if the men will get to Kayla before she gets herself into trouble. Will Helen be safe and will she and Charles ever get together? I can't wait to find the answers.

I knew there was something off about Ash. I have a feeling he's not done making trouble. Good thing Chaprasi knocked him out, but he'll be awake soon enough. Did Kayla guess something was up with the case, or did she just cut it because Ash still had the key? I can't wait to see how they get Helen back.

Very many thanks, Cindy, for your review the affirmation of a sixth star. Kayla had guessed that might be how things were set up. In an earlier chapter, she mentioned a similar device being used when she was in Phuket.

I love that you start this chapter off talking about a briefcase of cash. I often tell people I am looking for one and if they find it we can split it. Then the briefcase it at the end I feel completing the chapter in a small way after the unintentional insult made with the Kayber knife.

Thank you very much for your review, Mia. A suitcase full of cash would come in handy, wouldn't it? Keep looking!

This was a great chapter. Sorry you are late and have missed the SIXES for another week. This had plenty of drama and some interesting solutions to seeming problems. No spags. I am curious about the extension of trams in Adelaide.

hi Tony, the two timing is telling, but now somebody unexpected has come to the rescue. I loved this chapter and it becomes obvious that Kayla cannot be trusted. But what the really issue is still eludes me. That's a sign of good writing and plotting. Ulla:)))

An exciting chapter, and good dialogue. I especially like the way Chaprasi whacked Ash with the sock blackjack. I hope Charles makes it in time and doesn't have to use the knife hidden in his clothing. Good touch to put him local clothing.

The plot thickens even more. I hope they're able to find her, clear up this mess and rescue Hellen. It puzzles me how Ash acted the way he did, like it was a set up or something. Maybe I'm reading to much into it. Your chapter is very well-written, interesting, suspenseful. I look forward to reading more.
