How I love the silence! It always welcomes me... But it has also been known to jar me back to reality. What an exceptionally well-crafted poetic offering! Makes one think = always a good thing! :)

For many, such feeling ARE reality. The mind can be a lonely place, for in your mind you are truly alone. Your five - seven - nine poem says a lot in fifteen words. And, your words flow very nicely and were a pleasure to read. Good luck in the contest.

It says so much about hopes, dreams, who is there listening. It is a poem that I see both light and dark, right and wrong, good and bad.

A deepish poem you've written. For sure silence can be calming - or threatening, frightening. Mothers with several kids value it hightly. But for a lonely person - no one to depend on - it can be hard.
