I think this is a good entry for the 3 Words in a Poem writing prompt.
This lovely verse is a poem of love to a pet.
Well told. I wish you luck with the contest.

Such a sweet poem about a pet dog. You selected an excellent photo as well. I have a soft spot for dogs as I have 3 of my own. You used all three words to meet the criteria of the contest very smoothly. Best of luck to you.

Aww, I simply adore this poem. It's so cute and wonderfully written. I think that dogs are and will always be men's best friends. All in all, I really enjoyed reading this poem and love the picture you used for this poem.

This is a cute story within a poem which appears to meet the contest requirements. The three words fit into the piece very nicely. The picture is an appropriate addition.

What a cute little dog. I think you're lucky to have him, even if he did give you a scare. Animals do that sometimes. When Max was a kitten he used to pounce onto my bed from the top of the wardrobe in the middle of the night. Good luck in the contest.

This is a fiction poem I made up from the experience of my former dog Shelley I once have had. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

This is a sweet and sincere doggy poem about a beloved pet.
It does leave two unsolved mysteries, which may or may not be related: first, what was the accidental horror by which Bort scared his owner; and secondly, what was the shame of Bort's owner, and how did Bort erase it?
It's clear how much you love your doggy, Bort!

What an adorable picture of the sweet puppy. Your words flow well, Mystery Author, to tell of your bond with him. I like the rhyming and the way you highlighted the required words in the contest. There is a special bond between owner and dog that you described well. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes. Respectfully, Jan.
