Thanks for the read. I'm not sure what your opening question means. I am not aware that limericks need a moral. My understanding is that they are meant to create funny and humorous images. Am I missing something?

Rags may be a cad, but you are a limerick poet. Your rhyme scheme is good.
Not being a dog owner, methinks mutt and cad go together, but the dog looks to me that it is not a mutt. If you took the photo, then you know (-;
