Excellent entry you have submitted for this 5-7-5 mountain writing prompt. I can bear witness that I would never have that desire as I am afraid of heights, I get all dizzy. I found this to me a most enjoyable read and I wish you the very best in the contest.

Yes, man does have a desire to know and conquer which is good and bad. I think that technology and knowledge can and does have the opposite affect that what it was intended for. I like the message of this and enjoyed reading this inspirational and well written work. Well done!

Well done - and boy that is the truth. "why do you climb mountains?" - "because they're there". It is man's desire to conquer. Well said. "why sky dive?" "to show my lack of fear". Nonsense. keep your feet on the ground.
