You have made excellent use of all of your syllables to convey a message about the power of knowledge and mankind's unending desire for more of it and more ways to use it.

Nice poem for the contest. It's never been in me to climb mountains. In
fact, I never want to do things that are risky to my life. But I know there are
many who do.

Excellent entry you have submitted for this 5-7-5 mountain writing prompt. I can bear witness that I would never have that desire as I am afraid of heights, I get all dizzy. I found this to me a most enjoyable read and I wish you the very best in the contest.

Yes, man does have a desire to know and conquer which is good and bad. I think that technology and knowledge can and does have the opposite affect that what it was intended for. I like the message of this and enjoyed reading this inspirational and well written work. Well done!

I love this unique entry for the mountain poem. I would never have thought to use mountain/s in this context. And you kept the mountain theme in the literal sense as well. Good job. Good luck in the contest.

Well done - and boy that is the truth. "why do you climb mountains?" - "because they're there". It is man's desire to conquer. Well said. "why sky dive?" "to show my lack of fear". Nonsense. keep your feet on the ground.
