I have been there but did not see your purple image, which per the photo is outstanding.
I too like to center the text lines for my 5-7-5s, but I personally don't think it is necessary for this (type of) posting to use caps to start each line. Momentarily I was thrown off in reading your last line with Guards (sic). In actuality, I read your last two lines as a one sentence thought, which would make 'guards Yosemite' a better choice IMHO. I recognize that you have the ultimate control of your punctuation and capitalization style for your FS posts.

Thanks for your careful read and comments. Do you think all 5-7-5 efforts should use lower case to begin lines?

It is my personal style. They are short and normally are not really full sentences. If it is a traditional Haiku, then the third line, the aha moment (satori) may be offset by a squiggle after the second line. If the 3-liner is really a sentence, then cap for the first word and a period after the third line. Again it is your preference. IMHO it just looks cleaner without caps. Just think if it was one long line, e.g. a 20 syllable poem, the caps in the middle would look out of place.

Thanks so much for your reply. I have copied it and saved it to my computer, very helpful.

I thought you covered a great natural landmark with majesty of its own.
I always wanted to go there, maybe someday.
Nice work,
Thank you for sharing.
