LOL! ;) Oh, I'm so glad you enjoyed this one, Roy -- it's one of those that you know going in won't win cuz it's too nerdy to have wide-spread appeal, but I simply could not resist when the I ran across the word in the 20-letter listing!! ;) :) The ?nerd? was strong with this one.... LOL! ;) Take care! :) Yvette

This is excellent, Yvette. I abandoned your author notes halfway, I'm afraid. :-)) But I read enough to be aware of the facts.
Actually I think this entry is a contest winner. You selected a difficult word and aced the poem.
Kudos for courage, intelligence and creativity.
Blessings Julia

I liked your description of the buckyball here and how you connected it to football. One small thing I would suggest would be to changing the font size a bit and to not start every word with a capital letter. That would help with the overall teacup presentation style!

The Six Stars are for a stellar teacher with much knowledge and a flair for
composition. This a very unique presentation with great information. The picture is astounding in its own unique technological portrayal.

Yvette,
I saw this word in the list and was instantly drawn to it! I read about it and I thought I am not sure how to make this poetic. You, the genius you are, did it!! So proud of you.
Good luck in the contest.
Respectfully and kindly yours,
Beth-the minx.

I saw that word in the list and wondered what on earth it might be. I'm so glad you used it and explained it in the notes! Good luck with the contest.

Yvette,
My brain is bursting with all these mathematical concepts you are tossing out LOL
But one can still learn. Fisher Price has a children's toy similar to your artwork, which my grandson plays with.
Methinks if you want to extend your alliteration in your last line, do consider:
Famous Forties (or Fifties) Football ... haha.

Perhaps. But, as explained in the notes, the poem would no longer be accurate as it was discovered in the eighties. ;) Thank you for your review. ;)
