That's such a magical poem. I love everything about it, especially the vocabulary you chose to use for this one. It is so enchanting and in my opinion, it's a totally deserved win.

This haiku has so many strong words for such a small poem: "enchanting" ,,, "shire's".

One of the first poems I ever learned in my life, when I was very young at Catholic school in New Jersey was about Asters by Christina Rossetti. I can still recite it! Your 5-7-5 poem is lovely. The image you chose is perfect. Best of luck in the contest!

I plant them on my deck in the spring. They attract all sorts of bees and butterflies. I can't wait to plant them again. Not today, tho. It's-28. It's a big improvement over yesterday. It was -44. Love the picture. Good luck in the contest.
