What a great imagination you have! This is an excellent poem/story, and a good warning to know what you are drinking and never leave your drink unattended! Well, this might have been about a stupid drink, but I enjoyed it! Very well crafted piece that flowed well and told an entertaining story. Reminded me of Tom Hanks in Big. Not sure if you got your money's worth, but should do well in the contest!

There are many ways a drink may effect a person;
it seems as though Faust took a sip of talent in exchange for his soul.
Alas, there is more to writing than just talent, it also requires soul.
Your sonnet is spot on in all regards, rhymes, meter, Volta turn, and reflective couplet.
Excellent art work to match.
Maybe the sip will lead to a reward.
