I hope you are awake. Have you ever seen someone walk in their sleep or sleep walk? When a person dreams, many talk in their sleep, which can be terrifying unless you know what they are talking about.

Yeah, that is terrifying especially when you have an encounter with something terrifying. The line needs to be clear so that you know what state of consciousness you're in. I enjoyed reading this well written work. Well done!

This is such a wonderfully written poem. It sure sounds like a good approach to the topic of nightmares. All in all, I enjoyed reading this poem and I think the image matches the poem, which is great.

I think this is a very nice entry for the 5-7-5 Nightmare writing prompt.
This short verse tells of the real nightmare being, not knowing if you're awake.

I have been there, and that is a terrible feeling. Sometimes real life can be much worse than a nightmare. Thank God for a new year with a new Hope and things going forward. Thanks for sharing your creativity.
