What a fun and happy poem to read! The entire poem is written very creatively and the words are not forced, they flow very smoothly.Your snoring Santa adds a good chuckle to the poem. This Pleiades poem is a great contest entry. Good luck!

What an interesting poetry form and you did such a good job executing it. I loved all your rhyming words - they all made sense to the poem - none were forced. And, of course, the contents was fun to read. Hugs, Lou

Smart choice of title which offered you a brilliant excuse to slip your story in a lyrical format. Also very appropriate for the season your sparkle culminating with a Santa and the joy of giving. Good luck with the contest.

A very well-written Pleiades poem about the wait and excitement when it's time for Santa to arrive we sing songs and sometimes we find Santa snoozing under the tree for a while before he moves on.

Thanks for reviewing.

Excellent, delightful poem, which fits the Pleiades style starting each line with the same letter ("S") and entertains. The rhymes don't appear at the end of each line, but run in with the other lines as prose would -- is that okay? I don't know, as I am not familiar with all aspects of this style. But rhyme, they do! Clearly these people wore themselves out, having fun.

Thanks for your comments. I don't really know if that run-on rhyme scheme is ok or not - this is the first Pleiades I have written.
I usually write in free verse, so structured poetry is not my natural territory.

It seems you have followed the pattern accurately.
I like how you fit in the rhyme.
Your picture was an excellent choice.
Best wishes for the Pleiades poem contest.

This is a good entry for the contest where each sentence begins with the same letter as the solitary word of the title. It's not as easy as it looks LOL The little rhyming story throughout made the poem interesting to read.

Thanks Patty! Snoring Santa obviously drank too much. I hope he wasn't drunk in charge of a reindeer.

Ha, ha! This is a fun entry for the contest. Using alliteration to great effect, your line starts do not read as "forced" in order to follow the pleiades format {thumbs up}.
I hope this does well for you in the voting booth. Good luck!

I loved the alliteration here and the quaint end-rhymes that gave me a snoring sensation as Santa sleeps well after his mammoth deliveries on Christmas Eve, this beer must have sent him off into slumber nicely, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

This is a great entry for the Pleiades poetry contest. It is very appropriate for this time of year. You have seven lines all starting with S and you incorporated some rhymes into it as well. Great job!
