Hey...JLR! That's a publishable poster! I'm going to see that all over the northern states pretty soon aren't I. (for all the idiots with "an SUV with 4-wheel drive" that don't know it's not a license to go out and drive however you want in whatever you want) You also need to do one about driving in rain that's so bad you can't see two feet in front of you... pull over people!!! Well stated, well said! :)

Susan yes truly spoken four wheelers are the worst of the lot during inclement weather.

Hello JLR, a good 2/3/2 written true to form and a wise choice of words. These short forms are not easy but you have made a good job of this one. Well done and good luck - Dorothy

Great job with your 2-3-2 poem! And you're right that it is too risky to be driving under "white out" conditions. It's bad enough with crazy drivers in the rain but snow would make it more treacherous! Best to you in the contest!

Whiteout driving is risky. You can't see cars coming towards you and people can't see you coming toward them. It could end up in a multi-car pile up. It's not yourself you worry about because you can keep your car under control, it's the other guy you worry about!

Hello JRL,
I agree, I never go out in a white out. Usually not for the next few days either.
Excellent 2-3-2 poem that we northerners can relate to.
Interesting art work to match your words
Nicely done
Here's to no whiteouts!
Robert

You have it right. Whiteouts are bazaar. You almost want to stop and get out of the car. The best thing, other than not driving in it, is to hang on tight and pray.

I wouldn't want to drive in such conditions. I remember driving in a hurricane from North Carolina. It was one of the most foolish things that I've ever done. I made it through by the grace of God. I couldn't see a thing. He was guiding me through it. Thanks for sharing this well written work. Well done!

This reminds me of a running gag I used to enjoy with a white co-worker of mine. I am African-American, prone to making mistakes and so I would often as for some White-Out to correct my typing mistakes. He would always tell me to ask for Liquid Paper (R), a brand name for correction fluid. Always reminding me that White-Out could be seen as a racist statement. It's silly I know, but we always enjoyed a laugh over it, and your post reminded me of that.

This was a special time with a special person when we could be far less concerned about political correctness. Thank you for sharing a fond memory resulting from my poem!

What a wonderfully written five little words. No, I didn't count the hyphen. Living in Tennessee, we have flash flooding instead of white-outs.

Good luck in the contest!
Happy Holidays and God bless.

Mike, we never get them in North Carolina, but we did in Eastern Washington.
