What a fascinating picture and poem! I was wondering why you were writing about sky and birds and then I realized the shape in the photo was birds. It's almost like God was sketching on the sky with living creatures. Thanks for sharing.

I just love your descriptive imagery that you've creatively written in this highly language rich post dear friend. You've painted a canvas like none other with a cleverly sculpted work. Beautifully written, blessings, Roy

Hello, Bucketlist... I still can't see the bell... I can totally see a heart though! That's kind of Christmasy too if you ask me. Why wait until February to fill the world with love? Nice poem :)

Very poignant in the metaphors described. The birds become the individual brushstrokes across the ever changing lifeful sky. I love the line wright brothers inspired. The flow is very nice and unfolds nicely!

I like the title that you have chosen for this one, Trisha. Birds do seem to use the sky as their dance floor. The sunrises and sunsets provide the incredible backdrop for their dance formations. It's nice to think that they dance their choreography for the divine, as we should be entertaining God here on earth.
I enjoyed this one. I hope you had a lovely Christmas.

This is a wonderful free verse poem. Thinking of the sky as God's canvas is a really beautiful thought, especially when you think of all the colors and sites we see on that canvas. A beautiful image is also created by the Idea of the birds swooping and swirling, all kinds and colors. This is a lovely poem and it is presented beautifully. Thank you for sharing it.

A very well-written free verse poem about the sky ballerinas who put up a spectacular show when they come together and paint and artistic picture.
