That is indeed a Christmas that would be remembered by children. The talented parents who were hustlers with little cash put their skills to good use. Handmade presents that required blood, sweat, and tears are some of the best ones. Thanks for sharing this inspirational and well written work. Well done!

The toys sounded magnificent!
I can see why the soldiers are just as magical to you this day!
I especially enjoyed the picture of your dad doing housework which apparently he effectively used in his favor for years to come. Funny!!
