The promotion chapter 16 was a very well written piece.
I like all the attitude songs that you put at the end that helps with the I'm tired view of the Piece.
Thanks,
And Happy New Year!

I remember those days all too well. We were a Navy family living on the East Coast. Pax River. My husband was a diver, and I prayed every day he wouldn't be called. I lost family and friends in that war. I think its strange that two people had the same dream, but it's been known to happen.

It looks as if you and Bill are having a lot of fun putting this co-authored work together. It has plenty of action, nice touches of humour and good dialogue between the characters. An enjoyable read.

This was quite the era before my time. Strong line here: We quickly descended the ladder, then dropped among the body parts on the ground. That is a stark, to the point way of describing a war-torn locale in the middle of attack. Not sure what to improve on for now.

Amazing Work! You gave a great and graphic description of war. I could feel the intense battle by the way you described it. The characters that you created each have their own personalities and differences from each other. I like how you written the scene when Bill was shot and the premonitions that his family had while he was at war. It is very creative and well written.
I only saw one snag: Grandpa, Grandma and I were in front of the console TV watching Walter. You just needed to add a coma after Grand Ma.
Grandpa, Grandma, and I were in front of the console TV watching Walter
Great and amazing story!

Hey, guys,
Nice chapter. I really, really cannot imagine what life would have been like for those poor soldiers in those horrible environments back then. OR for the gals who loved them. It was a terrible situation all around. I certainly never thought of them also having to deal with gators. YIKES.
A couple of notes:
1.) Stay brave and positive for him. That's the best we all can do right now.(")
2.) (")We'll keep him in our prayers for God to protect him,"
Super job --
Thanks!

The was pretty harrowing. Not the gator being blown up. You can go at it all day here in Florida where we are overrun. In one lake nearby, there is reportedly 20,000! Yep. It is always the Vietnam war that stirs me, as I had a stepbrother who served as a Green Beret and died of Agent Orange exposure. He was a real sweetheart, too. He left five children behind at age 33. You story is well written as always, and we are holding on to see if Bil makes it back to Cathy and the baby.
Sending you both my best today as always,
Sally xoxo
