Sorry I'm just catching up since holidays! Well, off they go to help in the fight. It seems Dylan's pals might a a bit overwhelmed by the revelation of dragons in their midst! Ha! The new discovery of venom may come in handy in the battle! Looking forward to the next part! xoxo

Thanks for the six! Yep, his pals are a little freaked out, but they'll be happy to have them around shortly.

Very deserved! Love this story!!

"the grizzly feast" - " the grisly feast"
" in a much better mood" - " in a good mood"
"they hadn't had this morning" - "that morning"
A well written chapter, Cindy. It's fascinating to learn more about the dragons and you use the encounter with Dylan's men to good effect. As they learn so do your readers.

Thanks. I'll fix that. Guess they're not eating a Grizzly. Glad you enjoyed the chapter.

Another fine chapter in which you show off the prowess of the troupe of dragons. I like the way you are gradually feeding in more attributes as they mature - the poison and the mental images. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Thanks. Lots of action coming up!

Sounds like the dragons are prepared for battle indeed even if they are little show-offs. Giving them the ability to poison adds another dimension to the story. Their exploits are entertaining.

Thanks. They think they're ready. Hope you'll stay tuned and see how they do.

They sound ready enough. The little dragons can act like drones and scout with not being seen. People would assume they're birds.
"Men, meet Aaron's dragons. They won't hurt you, but Aaron will if anyone raises a weapon to them." <-- He is like a father to them... how sweet. :)

Thanks. The dragons are still very young, and it would be a dull story if they didn't mess up a bit. Yep, Aaron is pretty protective of them.

I enjoyed this chapter, Cindy. I like the way the dragons showed off--each trying to outdo the other. I know they will be vital when the battles start. You did a good job introducing the dragons to the men and having them accepted. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully with Love, jan

Nothing like a good dragon story!
If I were one of Aaron's men, I would have been far more than merely apprehensive when a flock of dragons landed near me. Shooting them would have been the last thing I thought of. Who wants a pee-ed of dragon after them. Haha
I liked the idea in the story however... I'm just not the 'brave-in-the-face-of-dragon-swarms' type.
Enjoyed the read. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Aaron found the eggs, hatched them, and now they're starting to grow up, tho they're still pretty small. A couple more chapters and I'm going to buy a book balloon for anyone who wants to catch up.

I have enjoyed the story so far. I have just very recently joined this site, but I am enjoying the great interactions!

What a great chapter. I love how they discovered their Venum. I bet the poor creature was confused not sure what happened or what to do. I do hope they do well in their upcoming battle. Watching they hatch, grow I've become very fond of the little fellows.

Thanks. I've had so much fun with these little guys I'm going to have to do a sequel when this is done. Figuring out what would hatch from each egg and what it would become was a bit of a challenge, but worth it. Glad you're still enjoying them.

I love the idea of dragons that can blow fire and talk, but there's a new factor emerging, that dragons have the ability to poison their potential victims and their supper, I love this sort science fantasy with these magical creatures, and men. With enough malevolence around to make it riveting. Well done, blessings, Roy

Thanks. No, the dragons can't poison people with their supper. Venom is different from poison. Like snakes, you're in no danger unless you're bitten. You could eat a highly venomous snake, or an animal it has bitten, and be in no danger at all. But they have plenty of other abilities. You probably wouldn't want to piss one off. LOL

Well, the battle is on, or soon will be. I'm so nervous for the little dragons, but I bet they can take care of themselves. The element of surprise will go a long way to protect them.

Thanks for the six! Yes, the battle will be on in the next chapter. The men needed to meet their allies first, or they'd have been shooting at them! Lots of excitement coming up.
