This is delightful. It tops just about every other greeting card verse I have read this season. The last lines are perfect. It is so easy to stick money in the mail and not do something personalized. (Well, maybe not 'easy' but 'easier.') The second stanza also points out that 'without this Savior, there would be so few/occasions we would find to celebrate/much peace on earth.' Nice share.

A lovely theme and ending Dawn. The rhyme and rhythm were not only perfect, but nothing seemed forced into place. I like the movement you brought with the enjambment in the stanzas and from one stanza to the next. Well done my friend. Merry Christmas to you too!

Dear Dawn,
Your basic delightful loving character shows strongly in this beautiful poem. To our shame, many of us with means concentrate on the fleshy delights of Xmas and ignore charity.
".....and the greatest of these is Charity"
