I am old enough to remember the sleigh rides and you hit it perfectly, it is tranquil and takes away all other thoughts. Very nice piece for the new Winter season

    They still have them in NYC in Central Park. We were there about 6 years ago. I?m glad you enjoyed the memory

You deliver a technically sound Tanka-ish verse with correct line and syllable count throughout. The use of capital letters and lack of turn in line three are what prevents this from being a true Tanka. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.
