Lovely monorhyming Trisha and though you're 'glad' you don't spend winter's there anymore your descriptions are beautiful, and I love the picture. I'm glad too I don't live in snow areas but they are so picturesque.
cheers,
valda

Your poem is skillfully-created and vividly descriptive. The mono-rhyme works effectively in this piece. Yes, there is much beauty in those frigid
places, BUT I too am glad I don't live there.

Thank you for those kind words. As we age we get picky - we moved to Florida, now we hate the hot humid months !But the beauty up north wins hands down.

The wonder of nature is inspiring but icy cold is a total bummer. Have a happy blessed day.

This is a beautiful scene and although it is winter here, it looks like an idyllic place to line, but the ice and frozen lake and win make it a place you want to escape, I enjoyed your sentiments here, love Dolly x

A very well-written poem about feeling glad about something that many other people just take for granted. We are sekdom happy with our current circumstances.

Sounds like me as I relate stories of Nakina, so far north in Canada there are no paved roads. I too am glad I live here now. Excellent monorhyme and loved the way you took us from the beauty of it to being glad you are not there

Winter is really a beautiful season IF you do not have to be out in its frigid temps for very long LOL. This is well penned and a delightfully fun piece. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

Fact is we need to bloom where we are planted, but frozen ground doesn?t make for happy plants! My bones and muscles let me know by cramping and spasms they are cold. Thanks for reviewing .

This verse would have been a great Thanksgiving comment about something you were thankful for. You did a fantastic job on this monorhyme and attached photo. I enjoyed reading it!
