First off what an eye-catching image ..love the vivid colours.
I had to open and check this post out. Your wee poem reminds me of a summer day while I was walking my dog.... as you know I live near the woods and to avoid the heat we left late that afternoon.
We were at the entrance of the woods when suddenly a fox crossed our path about 4 metres in front of us.
I remember we all froze ...me , the fox and my dog. Our gaze locked for just a few seconds.
Its fur was a stunning rusty hue in the shade... small , it had a big bushy tail.. then as quickly as it appeared it vanished into the woods.
The whole encounter happened so fast that for a moment I thought my eyes fooled me but then I looked down to my dog and he still had a startled look stamped over his muzzle.
How I wished to see, in the days to follow , the sly fox wandering again but I had no luck and so till this day it has remained a one in a lifetime experience.
Be it a cool girl with flowing hair, or a beautiful animal we have all had such a moment that left us saying: but was it a figment of my imagination or did I really see that ?
I love everything about this original entry, it put a smile on my face ...
I wish you a Sunday full of joy, Rhonnie!

In one sentence? Well done. What a lovely piece of artwork you found to accompany your line. This is really cute. I enjoyed it. Good luck in the contest.
