Now I know what a Naani is, this is a good one I think the purple geode is most common but I have seen a breathtaking red.

There are several colors, but this one caught my attention during the club challenge week subject of ?purple?. I?ll research the red, it sounds lovely. Thank you for your kind review

Fascinating things; agates. Your poem reflects their beauty and their strangeness. The thing you have to check when purchasing agate slices is whether they are dyed or not. I don't know if anyone dyes geodes. I should hope not!

A beautiful rock of purple hues. Wouldn't this look good in a ring? This poem brings out the many splendor and its wonders of our earth. The other day they had on the news about mica, another gorgeous stone.

Amethyst is almost the same color, and is popular in jewelry. Thanks for the complimentary review.

We all must connecting through the ether because I was thinking purple just now too. This is most cool with your use of poetic ambiguity to illustrate the diversity in sameness.

A most enjoyable Naani. :)

A well-crafted poem about the geode. The picture is striking, but your poem shows it as well. I like your delicate use of consonance: agate and geode, taken and core, beautiful and bands, the rhyming of purple crystal.
