A delightful story you have going on! Such imagination! The dragons are so cute in the minds of readers thanks to your excellent descriptions of their antics. One edit: "I'm now I'm not so sure." (In paragraph starting "I've heard that before...")

I just read both new chapters! Sounds like things are really getting bad there in the kingdom! I'm glad to see Aaron decided to fill Dylan in as he will need all the support he can get to care for the dragons once all hell does break loose after the king dies! xoxo

Awe, those dragons are so cute. They also seems to be great at keeping a sharp eye out for suspicious strangers. So the king is dying. Now better times is to come. Let's hope so. Ulla:)))

Thanks. Yep, better times to come, but plenty of action first.

The dragons turned up so cute and playful. The kids also are excellent dragon keepers and finally that awful king is sick and hopefully the country will know better times. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the next chapter.

Thanks. Things will get better, but there's lots more action and trouble first.

Brilliant superb magnificent write Cindy wish I had a six for you! I love this story and will be following it as it goes along. You are awesome! Whatever culture they appear in, dragons are always reptilian. That means the Mesozoic Era is the place to start. It lasted from 252 million years ago until 66 million years ago, and is known as the "Age of Reptiles". The most famous Mesozoic reptiles are of course the dinosaurs. The similarities between dinosaurs and dragons are well documented. There is a long history in China of identifying fossilised dinosaur bones as those of dragons.
Palaeontologists have also playfully nodded to dragons when naming their new discoveries. In the dinosaur pantheon we have everything from the "dragon king of Hogwarts" (Dracorex hogwartsia, a spiky-headed pachycephalosaur) to the "dragon of Qijiang" (Qijianglong guokr, a 50-foot long sauropod).
Based on their appearance, as well as their taste for large prey like knights and fair maidens, any real-life dragons would have filled a similar niche to that occupied by apex predators like Tyrannosaurus rex.Anyway I have bored you enough this is a magical story and I will be reading your work whenever I can love and best wishes Meia x

Thanks. Did you now that in China it was illegal to kill a dragon? Dragons were sacred and it was a sin you would go to Hell for. Of course, I'm sure they had trouble finding any to kill! One theory has it that fire breathing 'dragons' were actually alien spacecraft. Wherever they came from, they make for great stories and this one has been fun to write. Glad you're enjoying it.

This is developing nicely. The dragons are growing up also and settling in as far as there identities go. I have a feeling that some very interesting things are about to happen. I'm enjoying this intriguing and well written work. Keep it coming! Well done!

I love the beginning of this where Dylan seems completely flummoxed. And I'm getting fond of the little dragons too. lol
Just a few points:
He sat, gaping at the odd little faces, then at rest of the colorful assortment - should be 'at the rest..'
"Duane, perhaps our guest would like some tea. Duane, meet Dylan. - speech marks needed after 'Dylan'
Never believed it before today, I'm now I'm not so sure." Period after 'today' then 'Now I'm not so sure."
Usually we eat outside. - comma after 'Usually'
"Don't worry little guy," said Aaron. - comma after 'worry'
you found a way to make the witch to help you. - delete 'to'
They had just finished eating when Green flew down from his perch chirping loudly before he disappeared - comma after 'perch'
Moments later Gareth galloped into the clearing. - comma after 'later'
Enjoy your week

Dylan was in for a shock when he realised who was responsible for saving the day for them. Duane happens to be a fugitive and Dylan warns Aaron about the boy. They decide to keep his presence to themselves. Gareth comes in with a message that the King is dying and asks Dylan to go to him. Quite an interesting chapter.

Thanks. Gotta get rid of that king before he eats the dragons! Glad you enjoyed this chapter.

This is just wonderfully delightful reading! There is no evidence of SPAG so it flows smoothly, without distraction. I just love how each of these little guys has a place and a purpose in the group. Pink seems to be especially frisky and fearless. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

I enjoyed this chapter, Cindy. The action progressed nicely. I'm happy the dragons were safe and Dylan met them. You included several tangents that can become storylines later. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully with Love, Jan
