What a lovely story of "strangers" meeting for the first time. I can easily visualize this scene at a family reunion as all the generations convene and the matriarch bestows a kiss on her great-grandson for the very first time. Rod

You only get a glimpse with 100 words, ha ha.
I used the word edge to give the feeling of a boat bow cutting through the water to get to Grandma Betty. I can only imagine the time it would take to get from the porch to the lawn with a newborn.
Of course everyone has to look and coo, cheers.
