I think you should ask him to shower beforehand. You'll sleep more soundly, especially if the guy doesn't linger.

Your red on black presentation, choice of font, and layout are striking, Diana.

Good luck in the love competition!

Hahaha!!! Too funny! Thanks so much! I needed that bit of comic relief!! Got a second place so I guess it?s ok if he showers later! xoxo

Make sure he does't follow you there, Diana.

Amazing that, for some, the sense of smell is the an erogenous zone all its own... :) :) A wonderful offering for this limited format contest -- thank you for sharing and best of luck in the contest! ;)

Thank you! I?m quite surprised by a second place finishing just now as I was lagging behind only an hour ago! My first poem in several weeks! So happy you could appreciate it!! xoxo

Hi, this is a very evocative poem. Our sense of smell is more finely tuned than we think. It is very powerful for remembering, isn't it? I saw no errors, the picture is lovely. (But give me crisp cotton 1000 denier count sheets any day over satin), lol.

A lovely poem I'd recommend to other readers for review, cheers, Eve.

I like the alliteration here. The "s" sound is in itself somehow intimate, as witnessed by John Keats' usage in Ode to Autumn.

Here's wishing you the best when the voting booth opens {smiles}.
