Hi Alicia. I enjoyed reading this poem, well worded and illustrated about the temptation of a box of donuts. Favorite line is:
"I don't know what that is, but it looks good."
It brought a giggle. The toughest thing about a box of donuts is--which one do I choose?

Someone has been to Dunkin' Donuts too often. I can see the Speaker bringing a box of varied donuts into the office hardly able to wait till break to share them with her co-workers. Meanwhile they sit there TEMPTING. You have my mouth watering. Rod

Good morning to you and that coffee and donuts greeting! I picture sitting at the office desk just as you wrote in your delicious poem. There's always temptations at work and yes we have to enjoy them in moderation as I speak for myself. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful Tuesday.

Enjoy for me. Most of them have milk so I can't and this month I'm staying away from sugar so a double-No for me. But you're young and can enjoy! These lines were my favorite:
"How they glisten, glow, glint and gleam" and
"As churned cream cries itself into custard."
