In the past Kings were prompt to blame their queens if they didn't bare the hoped son , an heir to the throne .. HenryVIII lost interest in Anne Boleyn because she supposedly could not conceive a boy.
But now with our advanced technology we know that it's the male gene that determines the sex of the child .. Their sperm carries both the X and Y chromosome ...
so if the male Y chromosome reaches the XX chromosomes of the female first , the child will be a boy.
The artwork is cool and the topic different from the usually.
Boy or girl ? I say the main thing is that the newborn is healthy ..

Are these ghosts flying within the picture? If your picture is to do with Halloween, I will run for my life. But then the sun is smiling so it should be okay. Good luck in the contest.

HELLO ROSEMARY: Thank you for viewing and commenting on my poem. Ha ha ha...It made me LOL, to see that you being a woman didn't recognize the inkling of child conception in this posting.
