This is a good mixture of prose and poetry and is a tale of true love. I think he should let her know who she it. It is weird that he is painting her for her parents with her know he loves her. If he signs the painting she will know. How can this kind of love not be in his eyes when he sees her?
Congrats on placing secondin the contest.

Thank you, dear Joan. Her responses and letters are in "To My Secret Admirer." I hope you're able to catch those as well. Sending you my best today as always,

No problem, Sally. I will try to start from the beginning and read both sides.

Fantastic! This is such a wonderfully romantic work and deserves the highest honor on this site! I am jealous of the perfect man who loves her so much! Will he ever show himself in person? My oh my, I do hope he will! xoxo

So glad you like. My romantics are eating thiis up. I'm so pleased as I'm enjoying this immensely. My husband and I had a long courtship involving much letter writing. I have boxes and boxes.
Sending you my best today as always,
Sally xoxo

This is a poignant story, followed by an equally poignant and cleverly-written Nonet, something I haven't had the courage to try. I did notice one thing I wanted to bring to your attention:
This regime I know all too well.
I think in this sentence you meant to say "regimen".

Thank you for your excellent review and critique. It is what I meant to say, as regime implies something forced. Thank you, again. I have repaired it.
Sending you my best today as always,

Sally,
What a wonderful piece of romantic writing. I can see why it made the Story of the Month contest. It has so much heart - glad to see that this man's affections seem to be reciprocated. *smile*
No nits and all joy. Thanks!

I guess I haven't been keeping up with things, I have a ton to read. What have I been doing? My back went out so sitting was very hard, I'm still not 100% but better. Loved this chapter. Can't wait till they meet. Rox

what a loving letter you wrote. I so love to read your writings as well as your other stories I've read. Did you write somewhere that you're thinking about writing a book? or were they continuation stories on FS?

This is a continuing love letter between two people who are at the same Baptist hospital. He confesses his love for her anonymously in 'Love Letter on a Clipboard, chapters one, two and three. ' She responds to him and has fallen in love with his words, in 'To 'My Secret Admirer, chapters one and two.' The two stories will run in tandem until Christmas Eve Eve. The next one is 'To My Secret Admirer #3', I have ready to post next week.
I hope you'll access my portfolio and catch up. Start with Love Letter on a Clipboard, Chapter one, then, "To My Secret Admirer, chapter one."
Many thanks for the kind review and I hope to see you next week!
Sending you my best today as always,
Sally xo

-Good artwork, story, and nonet, Sally.
-The secret admirer continues his
outpouring of feelings for Kristin.
-He certainly knows a lot that goes on
around the hospital, like Captain Lewis
and the staff's love of chocolate.
-I found this statement quite interesting:
"You've never really seen me as the one
behind these clipboard love letters."
-Then, he reveals he is an artist and is
going to paint a picture of her parents;
I guess he has probably seen them at the hospital.
-I liked the nonet, title, and quotes, too.
-I await Kristin's reply.
-One small typo: inspirition.

Comment from Carla Trinklein
I love the quotes at the beginning and the end of this installment! I also loved your nonet. I'm glad the writer of the letter acknowledged that she'd have every reason to wonder if he was some "horrible creature". I love that he told her he would wear her tie "proudly"-being able to receive a gift graciously says a lot about a person. Very nice touch to have him paint a picture of her for her parents! That's thinking ahead! I'm as intrigued as ever.

I really enjoyed this piece and didn't want it to end. It left me wondering not least who is he? What operation is she having? Whats the blue tie for?

Thank you very much for the lovely review. These are back and forth love letters. "Love Letter on a Clipboard" is from him, a secret admirer, and "To My Secret Admirer" is from Kristin, as she has fallen in love with this mystery man and his penned confessions of love. They have made a date to meet Christmas Eve Eve. You'll see all these love stories in my portfolio. "To My Secret Admirer #3 airs next week.
Start with 'Love Letter on a Clipboard, chapter one.'
Sending you my best today as always,
Sally xo
