What a very cool offering for this unique contest -- have so enjoyed reading all of the entries and the different stories!! ;) :) Your free verse just takes the reader to so many different points that the emotions can't help but wrap themselves around your words! :) Thank you for sharing yours and best of luck in the contest! ;) :)

Well, if you got the rules wrong theater that can happen is
you won't win. But at least you a great review for FanStory and told how we make friends and care about each other...I had written a poem for this contest but I didn't get it sent because I'm sick in the hospital.

This is an interesting poem. This site does offer the writer a lot of freedom of expression and, basically, anything goes. We do make good friends even though we may never meet them. I enjoyed reading this and best of luck in the contest. Marilyn

"Save here, Spend there" -- Oh, how true. FanStory is a perfect example of "green" living; everything is recycled {winks}.
Your poem seems to consider some of the benefits -- for example, "observe to hone skills" -- and the disadvantages -- for example, "Badmouth me [...] into a bigger emotional basket-case".
I like your approach; we don't live in a monochrome world {smiles}.
