There are woods a stone throw from my town and at the entrance, there is a patch for shrubs full of blackberries...I love eating them on the spot ..only a small portion make it home.. ( biggrin ).
I like them at breakfast in plain yoghurt. I have a friend in Austria that loves to conserve fruits including black berries......she used to send us several of her jars during the year for my pa to enjoy.
This is a well written entry, certainly a great entry for children :...a smart way to teach them, in an entertaining manner, about their environment and the beautiful fruits mother nature offers us.
