Ahhhh....such a romantic look at the artful splash of spaghetti sauce... kindof gives credence to the term we authors use: spag. ;) :) :) Thanx for the grins this morning.... yeah, and, like I used to constantly say to the boys at the table: lean over your plate when you take a bite! ;) :) Yvette

Hi Bill,
I've been AWOL for a while and it is lovely to see you posting poetry.
I'm surprised how a blob of sauce produced this result.
Quite an effective use of style.
Blessings

This is the very reason the clerk at the local cleaners know me by sight. You would think by now I would have learned, but no, I keep on making the same mess every time I eat something juicy in my freshly dry cleaned suit.

I have always loved the word "ort" - it gets far too little use so I am happy to see somebody paying it some well deserved homage :). This is well penned and uses the word splendidly. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

This is a humorous writing about a guy that seriously needs a bib. I hope you didn't have to watch the guy eat. Thanks for sharing your creativity.

I've never heard 'ort' used in that context before. I thought the ort cloud was a bunch of space junk out by Pluto. Interesting, it has another meaning. This one needs some Spray n'Wash.

This shirt needs to become a shop rag and the wearer would do as well getting fed with a sling shot. : )

I had to look up "ort". It's a fabulous fit for a disgusting scrap, especially as you describe it. But it happens to us all so I won't judge.
Did you mean "bib" in the penultimate line?
