The poem is simple, conveying love between two persons, one a woman, both compared to birds, "you and me..." The love shared folds itself into and is centered on, the Kiss. From it comes a sense of bliss and an ecstatic expression of feeling (Rhapsody). It may be written from a man's point of view. I wonder if you could write this from a same-sex point of view? Thay may be interesting
