Kudos for successfully navigating the limiting restrictions of the oxylet format. I am impressed that you chose to tackle such a divisive and emotionally-charged topic and grateful that you did so without choosing sides.
Your theme and structure are spot on and your content supports the direction of your theme. Technically, your syllable count, as well as your rhyme and oxymoron requirements were adhered to without exception.
In terms of critique, the severe limitations of the format hobble creative inspiration. In other words, simply obeying the rules and submitting to the nearly impossible format requirements requires significant word-smithing and creativity. Like a jigsaw puzzle, the primary objective of this format is to put the pieces together correctly, which you have done.
Congratulations on your success. Keep up the good work.
