You have vividly told the story of so many people--men and women! Just look at the divorce rate. It remains high, even among Christians. Well, it has dropped a tiny bit--just because so many are shacking up instead of marrying. Your depiction of the scorned woman is so heart-wrenching and realistic that I want to smack that creep she's married to!

This is a great entry for the contest. We see that an affair not only affects the couple, but also the children. The author having to make excuses for the father's infidelity just makes it a little more poignant. See you at the finish line, cheers, judester

This sounds like a betrayal within a marriage and it also sounds very personal, I felt the pain as you could not tell your innocent children about their father's indiscretions, an emotional write with a spasmodic meter and good rhyming scheme, love Dolly x

How many lives and families destroyed in the name of fake love. When the love got switched off inside your family and how can you look in the eyes of the person who he chose to say yes. What about the kids, do they matter?Thank you for sharing.
